One Month

I realise that I started my blog just One Month ago. Yeah

I am really enjoying it, it's great to be able to share my work and your feedback and lovely comments have been so encouraging. I am also inspired by all your blogs too the competition and artwork is outstanding. I hope you keep looking and any comments are very welcome.

Christmas in July (shock!)

I started this card a while ago and just wasn't able to finish it until...................
I received my order of Fancy Pants Pollen Dust stamps from That's Crafty such a good deal check them out they have the best price and it's free delivery.
I have been eyeing these stamps up for ages. They are sooooo Yummmmmmmy!!!
To finish this card I used the big flourish and stamped over the decorative paper from DCWV Christmas stack and used red embossing powder. I stamped the little girl hanging up stocking onto red card stock with black ink. Then I applied about three layers of clear embossing powder to give it a glossy finish. It's a little hard to see in the picture.

Tent Topper Card

This for the Sketch Challenge on SCS to make a tent topper card. I've experimented a bit with the topper by cutting a funky shaped frame. As you can see I've used fancy pants "again" I stamped flourish in bottom right corner and heated in red embossing powder to compliment the red gloss card stock. I stamped the flower heads onto yellow card cut out and layered with 3d foam onto cut out stem. I used DCWV old stack for the back of frame and the butterfly.

Ways to Use it

The challenge on SCS is to parade your favourite product or just something you want to feature that you couldn't live without. Well seeing as I have my new Fancy pants stamps they are my first choice however I couldn't possibly live without my die-cut machine (Big Shot) I must use it everyday, it provides such a wide spectrum of uses with cutting and embossing.

The card above Is just using the stamps with black embossing powder I wanted quick and simple. I love this colour combination too.

Thank you all for your continued interest in my blog I am planing to showcase some of my other art work soon so keep looking.
