White and Kraft ~ Paperbabe Stamps Challenge

Thanks for visiting...
We have a new anything goes challenge on the blog today and...
I made another card, I went for a clean kraft and white colour palette, with a touch of rose gold.
So to create my white portrait I used the 3/4 view female face die
and the torso from body die, her top is hiding from her hair. I've completed the look by cutting layers of the Hollyhock hairstyle.
I actually cut her out of watercolour paper thinking I would be splashing lots of colours onto the paper but then I went with the pure white, hoping the shadows and texture do the work, I maybe should have raised them on foam but it's all about playing, this is one of those cards that needs a closer look lol!
I went for this sizzix mandala for the background and a little pine branch foliage from gold rose too. Then I added a small sweet sentiment with white embossing on kraft.

and I would love to enter my project to these wonderful challenges too...

Whimsical Woodland Nymph

Thanks for visiting... and a Happy New Creative Year!
We have a new anything goes challenge on the blog today and...
I actually created a card, my first creative project this year, full of woodland fantasy. I was probably inspired because I was sorting out my copic pens and just really wanted to use them lol.
I decided to mix up the hair styles by combining the fringe of the messy bun with the tails of the wavy bunches. Her face was stamped using the 3/4 view female face, I used morning mist ink. I wanted her to be part of the woodland and I've made her skin a much greener tone, but it didn't photo well.
I added woodland details like the bunny and mushrooms from the Whimsical woodland set, along with the Dinky Hands. When I realised she could hold the bunny I was delighted, actually there's a lot of the images in the set, she can hold that way.
The Moon and stars were stamped from the Bat wings set. I've added some sizzix funky foliage in glitter and rainbow, I wanted them to almost 'glow'.

Here's the copics colours I used as I forgot to photograph them:
Skin; R000, YG0000,41, RV02, BV02, B60
Eyes & Lips; E04,18, R29, RV02
Hair; RV02,66,69
Background; B39, BV29

and I would love to enter my project to these wonderful challenges too...
