Paperbabe Stamps Challenge ~ Anything Goes

Hello everyone!!!
Hope you're keeping well and safe...
We have a new challenge up on the Paperbabe Stamps blog today...
I was creative with a needle and embroidery thread this week, using the 3/4 view micro fringe hair templates, with the closed eye face stamp, along with the dinky hands stamp set. The tattoo was created using the blossom stamps,
It's been many years since I've sewn anything, and this is probably my first embroidery, I used to sew with my mum. This kit from Stitch Happy helped so much. It's certainly given me the urge to try another, my couching stitching definitely needs work and you can certainly see some tension in quite a few of the stitches.

Stitches? and Stitching!!!

It's MONDAY!!!
I'm very late posting so much going on at home, it's really came to a head with a weekend spent in the hospital as Dillon suffered a head injury that needed surgery, there must be over seventeen stitches along his hairline... bless him, he's fit and recovering extremely well from it all!

which brings me onto the new challenge at...

and this week is Stitching!!! I know!!!

I completely indulged in my love of sewing for this challenge, creating a very aged looking bunny from a Tilda pattern.

To start, the bunny's muslin fabric was stained with antique linen and vintage photo distress stains. I definitely needed my scrubbie after that!
The ear lining and outfit are stamped with Wendy Vecchi's fabulous ticking and check background stamps, using distress ink directly onto the fabric. So pleased with how it came out!
The front I simply stamped this wonderful flower and finished off with some poppers.
So check out the goodies at...

And then why not pop round to the rest of the team's stunning stitched projects!!!

Simon Says Stamp and Show ~ Favourite Stamp

Good Morning!!!

It's Monday, which means we have a new theme at...

and this week is your favourite stamp!!!

Choosing a favourite stamp was without a doubt the toughest challenges yet!

I really had to think about this one and decided that Wendy's background stamps always impress!!!

Alphabetically art is definitely one of my go to stamps and I have used it on the sides of my hand made box.

But more recently art colors life background stamp really impresses and is on the lid, used with white embossing powder. Everything is sanded and scuffed then all the edges are generously inked with frayed burlap distress inks!

So let me introduce you to the cutie in the gift box, I like to try lots of crafty stuff and couldn't resist one of Jenny's Pattern's. She's a little bunny made form mohair with jointed arms, legs and head.

I've dyed some seam binding with Distress inks and added a Philosophy Tag too.

On her little hat I've made a little flower from Tim's tattered florals die and a yummy Melody Ross button.

The inside of the box is lined with some gorgeous Tim Holtz Crowded Attic papers.

The ornate plate holds triple embossed sentiment covered with glossy accents. Then added more seam binding and sculpture flower.

So find the goodies at...

Hope it inspires and why not pop round to the rest of the team's inspiring projects!!!
