CA&F - Sketchy Saturday #4

Hello Friends!

It's time for another awesome Sketch Challenge brought to you by
Club Anya and Friends and this week's sketch is drawn by the talented Jessica...

Well.... I just HAD to use Prince Ian after I emailed him out to so many of you wonderful crafters, LOL. He is fabulous love his adorable outfit and chose colours from the papers. Reasonably royal I thought LOL!

I've followed Jessica's sketch but squashed it slightly. I've had these papers for a while but they always look lovely. Ian is coloured with copics (of course) and I had to add a little princely sword although I couldn't decide where to stick it. Hope you get the chance to join in and pop to TGF Blog for your free Prince Ian Digi :)

Supplies: Patterned Paper: Cosmo Cricket; Stamps: TGF: Awesome Duo; Prince Ian (digi); Ink: printer; Archival: black; Tim Holtz: Distress Inks; Copic: markers; Dies: Nestabilities: circles; Quickutz: tattoo; border punch; Other: 3D foam;
Have a WONDERFUL weekend everyone and be sure to pop over to the Club Anya and Friends blog beginning Monday for our little hop! Thanks for stopping by and your wonderful comments you sure know how to make a girl feel loved :) HuGs Kim :)

POW! BAM! Monster Bashing Awesome Ian, LOL...

ARE you ready for the Amazing Duo with Superhero Anya and Superhero Ian.... Tee hee, this new set from The Greeting farm will be available on Monday... don't you just LOVE them?

The set includes all these fabulous power words too, which Inspired me to create a bit of a comic book layout on my card, I've roughly based it on Jessica's sketch from Saturday too!
Super Ian is coloured with copics inspired from these fun fabulous papers. Then cut and raised, the mask is stamped separately, I've cut out and simply glued it on. The 'power words' I have stamped, cut out and layered to get a black outline. Then raised on foam.

Pop over to
Club Anya & Friends and check out the teams fabulous Duo's.

Supplies: Patterned Paper: Sassafras: monstrosity; black cardstock; Stamps: TGF: Awesome Duo (released 1st Feb); Ink: Memento: black; Colourbox: primary; Copic: markers; Punch: Ek success; Other: 3D foam;
Thanks for stopping by and Club Anya & friends will have a sketch for you tomorrow too, HuGs Kim :)

Eggciting Preview... Club Anya & Friends :)

Good Morning thought I would hop by to show you the preview over at Club Anya and Friends Blog.... Monday TGF will be releasing the very pretty Easter Anya and the team have created some stunning samples...

So I have based my card using Dawn's sketch over at Inspirational card sketches.
Well... I have had these easter stickers in my stash collecting dust for some time now and it was a pleasure to actually get to use them and how nice that these papers just went so well too.
It's a bit tricky to see I hope you can by clicking the close up... I have given Anya a suede textured outfit, using liquid applique although it looks a bit like towel but feels nice and soft.

Supplies: Patterned Paper: Cosmo Cricket: girl friday; Bo Bunny: cardstock stickers; Stamps: TGF: Easter Anya (released 1st Feb); Ink: Memento: black; Copic: markers; Other: Frilly ribbon; liquid applique; 3D foam;
Thanks for stopping by and hope to show you another preview tomorrow, HuGs Kim :)

Wild Card Wednesday ~ Club Anya & Friends

OK... so... I haven't posted in a while bear with me LOL!

This is a preview of one of the new stamps that will be released on Monday...but we've also got a fun challenge for today on Club Anya & Friends too...

Some of you may remember Soldier Ian from when he was part of a larger stamp set that has since been retired. Well good news... he's back and this time he is a single! Pretty sweet huh?

I thought I would paper piece him and get him camouflaged in earthy colours. I have based my card on
Mercy's fabulous sketch. The metal on my card is the inspire snap.

Supplies: Patterned Paper: BasicGrey: granola; Stamps: TGF: Soldier Ian; Ink: Memento & archival: black; Tim Holtz: Distress Inks; Copic: markers; Dies: Nestabilities: label; WRMK: large snap; Big Bite Other: 3D foam;

Thanks so much for stopping by and pop over to Club Anya and Friends for the dt samples! Off to send some awesome emails with the Handsome Prince Ian for the participants in TGF relay.

Basic Grey Challenge #10 for twenty ten...

Hi everyone, well I'm back again and we have the first challenge of twenty ten on BasicGrey Challenges today and it’s a lovely photo inspiration theme. And there's a gorgeous ‘Nook and Pantry’ themed prize sponsored by Simon Says Stamp I hope you can join us... and there are superb cards from my DT friends but on a very sad note the wonderful Kristen had to step down from the team, we will miss her greatly BiG HuGs sweetie :)

I have based my card on Dawn's fabulous ICSketch, it's been a while and I did always enjoy them :)

My interpretation was a whole lot lighter and brighter in my head, but I opted for these BasicGrey papers and think they're a little bit pinky. The brown panel represents the carpet and I have dry embossed if you can see. I used the sheen ribbon was for the roman blind.

So, I have had this cute sweet stamp since before Christmas, I KNOW, shocking!!! I just haven't had the chance to ink and colour with all these trials over the holidays and it has been cutting into my crafting big time. So I am so major angry at the early Learning centre they have been so horrible to me there's so much to moan about I think I should save it for another post!!! Working on an effective complaints letter and try and get my money back!

Supplies: Patterned Paper: BasicGrey: blush; Stamps: American Crafts: sentiment; Ink: Memento & archival: black; Tim Holtz: Distress Inks; Copic: markers; Dies: Nestabilities: fancy tags; Cuttlebug: embossing folder; WRNK: corner punch; Other: American Crafts: ribbon; 3D foam;
Thanks so much for stopping by if you get a chance there's a wonderful Saturday Sketch challenge over at Club Anya and Friends!

Craft Stamper - a Valentine's Project

And a little giveaway, yes I want to thank you for following my blog and it's very sporadic posts LOL! and as a thank you I have a copy of this months Craft Stamper waiting to be posted to anyone who leaves a comment and random generator number will choose a winner on the 23rd of Jan :)
Wow, we're still seeing blankets of snow and some gaps where we needed it for our fabby snowman LOL!

OK... so it's been over a week since my last post I had to check my archives, as I thought for sure I'd already raved about being in this months Craft Stamper magazine but apparently it was one of those posts composed only in my mind.
This is a bit overdue and I just had so share the fun, it's a little funny to think I was creating for valentines three months ago. You can click on the magazine cover to take you to their website where they have a super cute vintage picture to download.
I was inspired by the age of valentines and did a little research into the original cards and handmade gifts it's amazing all the information. Valentine Puzzle Purses were the rage in the 18th and 19th century and so I just had to create one.

I hope you enjoyed my sneak peeks and sorry I haven't edited the pictures, In this issue you will see I've created a puzzle purse, with a metal rose inside an ornate box, a couple of vintage cards, a picture frame and postcard. I opted for digital patterned papers and found them so versatile and a great way to be really experimental. So if you can get through the snow I hope you enjoy your copy.

I do have more posts intended for today so hope I can get on here later too and show you my Design team card for the Basic Grey challenges and a card for the greeting farm challenge too phew!!! so much to catch up on!
BiG HuGs catch you later, Kim :)
