May Your Days be Magic ♥

Hello everyone!!!
Hope you're keeping well and safe just one more week to go until a very unusual first lockdown Christmas day, lets hope your days are full of magic ♥...

I wanted to pop by to share a little mid challenge inspiration, there is still plenty of time to take part in our current Anything Goes challenge as we're running it until 8th Jan...

I had the idea to make some elves using the new face dies and stamps...
I created four (for now), I simply doodled a fun tall hat to accommodate a dl(slimline)size card, no straight lines, you could fold the patterned paper over to recreate this on a smaller sized card blank.
I had fun inking up the background with distress oxides, I blended weathered wood, into evergreen bough into speckled egg. I then stamped a subtle pattern with a couple of swirls and some speckles in the opposite blend of oxides(if that makes sense?)
The faces were simply coloured in with watercolour pen and a touch of glitter. The hats I finished off with some rediscovered filigree liquid which I am super impressed is still fluid and working in the texture department.
I have die cut a heart, and it turned upside down to give the impression of a collar. I finished the card with a mix of sentiments to complete the theme.

I also would love to enter into these wonderful challenges too...

Paperbabe Stamps Challenge ~ Love is Everywhere

Hello everyone!!!
Hope you're keeping well and safe...
We have a new sketch challenge up on the Paperbabe Stamps blog today...
I created my card with an interactive figure, to represent the flower in the sketch, in fact I've turned the whole sketch on it's side too.
I constructed the JPAD figure the body, 3/4 right head, and hands in watercolour card and coloured her in watercolours. Her Dandelia hair I have cut in kraft and used coloured pencils to add the movement and details. I have dressed her in t-shirt and dungarees cut from the vintage doll patterned papers. All poseable with the ingenious paper brad then finished off with a sentiment.

Paperbabe Stamps Challenge ~ Miss Your Face

Hello everyone!!!
Hope you're keeping well and safe...
We have a new challenge up on the Paperbabe Stamps blog today
I've created a card with cool tones, a thinking of you card very representative for this year...
I've die cut the portrait head with the ears, in two passes, to create a window which I mounted onto a reflective back with dimensional adhesive.
The background was a collage of all the faces from the portrait, 3/4 view left and right, all stamped in one go like a huge stamp, I then matted onto some of the new vintage doll patterned papers that I've distressed slightly. Completed with the miss your face sentiment using the fun alphabet.

Paperbabe Stamps Challenge ~ 'Embrace Your Dark Side'

Which is what I wanted to put on my card front but there simply wasn't the room...

Hello everyone!!!
Hope you're keeping well and safe...
We have a new challenge up on the Paperbabe Stamps blog today,

I was completely inspired by this wonderful artist... Ling Song
It's a simple stamping, and I used pencil, biro and black fine liner to add shadow and depth.  I've added bat wings, but I'm not sure if it's become too fussy with them, I've also added long finger nails to her dinky hands as well as a few drips, but all the spider webs have been drawn free hand.
The eyeball was a fun combination of the large circle in the standard set and the iris and pupil ffrom the mini set. It was quite fun to doodle away on this sitting with the kiddies in the evening.
