Paperbabe Stamps ~ Queen of Hearts

We're introducing the Queen of Hearts on the Paperbabe Stamps Blog today...
Meet our new addition to our grown up digital collection, this beauty is inspired by the powerful Queen of hearts, complimenting the Alice in wonderland theme.
I've printed off the faint line version, I love that the eyes are still black and how they pop, much easier than trying to go over the eyes with a black pen. She was calling to be coloured with copics, I thought I would try some new cardstock I had but never again lol, it just doesn't take the inks well, whatever coating is on the card seems to interfere with the copic ink. I had to place scrap paper over areas as the ink was coming off and transferring to other parts I had coloured. But I was committed by then so carried on lol!
I was inspired by Tim Burtons Queen of Hearts for her colours but I've added a little heart to her face from the Kawaii Face stamp set instead of her beauty spot.
I teamed her up with the looking glass patterned papers from Kaisercraft.
and these are the copics I used.

I thought I would enter my card into a few challenges...
Cutie pie challenge #90 ~ Cute and Girly
sweet stamps challenge #234 ~ Anything Goes
stamp and create ~ One for the girls
Crafting from the heart #72 ~ Anything Goes

Thank you so much for stopping by,
Enjoy a wonderfully creative day!

Pixel FUN FUN FUN!!!

We're introducing a new stamp set on the Paperbabe Stamps Blog today...
Called Pixel Fun
I have many samples but I thought I would just show the one my children loved, I've never known them to be quite as under my feet when making samples as with this set, it obviously totally appeals to that inner child.
The background was created by stamping the broken parts of the blocks in layers, it stamped three by three and measures about 4 3/4" so fits on a 5" card base very nicely. The grass I've raised on dimensional foam to give a shadow.
There are many resources to find minecraft character faces, the hama beads is a good place to start as they have been simplified.
How cute would they be as magnets and cupcake toppers, I just need to have a go at some of the mining blocks to coordinate. I could very easily build a 3D block by stamping the grid image side by side.

We have one more introduction tomorrow so pop back then.
Thanks for stopping by
Enjoy a wonderfully creative day!

Paperbabe Stamps Challenge #18 ~ Anything Goes

It's the next challenge on the Paperbabe stamps blog today...
It's an anything goes so I went cute overload by paper piecing my Adorimals character, I just love that you can play with the pose, I've tilted the bear's head, as the elements are separate for more versatility. This is some very old paper stash but it's still lovely to use.
The face was stamped using the Kawaii Face Set, We had the most beautiful rainbow in our sky yesterday that I couldn't resist stamping one using the High in the Sky. Then I used the lovely sentiment Best Version on her little hill.

I'm entering this card to a few other challenges:
Southerngirls challenge ~ Anything Goes
Addicted to stamps ~ Anything Goes
Crafting for all seasons ~ Bright and beautiful
Creative Moments ~ Anything Goes/Summer
Rubys rainbow ~ for a little girl
Stampin royalty ~ Rainbows

Thank you so much for stopping by, I'm still recovering from our week away with the kiddies, there's still laundry to finish, designs to complete and art to make!!!
Enjoy a wonderfully creative weekend
