A Few Sketches.....

Thought I would have a go at the wonderful Kazan's Sketch 7 over at 2sketches4you.

I have a little theory about sketches, originally I found them difficult because I found it MORE challenging to follow the sketch precisely and would often go off in my own design, and now I'm discovering that the idea of the sketch is to inspire more then challenge, so this what I did for this sketch, I turned it on it's side and used the sketch as a template to place the embellishments! I think I'm getting it!!!!

Paper: Anyone, Anyone? Gin-X, DCWV texture stack, grey board,

And while I'm at it I thought I would show you these three for 2S4Y DT Application that I tried! Click on the images to get a close look!

I have created cards for both Kazan and Laura's sketches, they were wonderful to work to!

Gorgeous cards!!! You've got the sketch part right.. all you do is use it as a basis for your cards and use it to your advantage!! I never use a sketch 'as is' .. I always make it my own! ;)
