Ally Pally and a Grungepaper Rose

Yesterday I went to Ally Pally and got myself a few gorgeous crafty treats, as you do....
But the best, most wonderful thing about yesterday was without doubt meeting up with sooo many fabulous blog friends, Hello Girls!!! It's a day we will never forget we had a blast and Definitely intend on meeting up again, at Birmingham in November....

Jo, Marlene, Chris, Caz, me & Kim

From the left is Me, Debby, and Jo standing behind Kim, Chris and Jacqui
Thank you to sweet, sweet Jo for the wonderful pictures... although I could have done practicing some poses before hand ROTFL!!!
So... I could show you what I bought but instead I'm showing what I made today with a few of my goodies...

WOW when I first set eyes on this grungepaper rose I knew I had to try it, "gorgeous" just doesn't cut it... the finished flower is still so tactile in your hands. I think I might just get a little addicted to them, so be warned there will probably be a few popping up in the next few posts LOL!
Thanks for stopping by and I will be showing my final DT card for ICSketches tomorrow :( until then HuGs Kim :)

Well....didn't we have a loverly time and you can see that we did from these photos, it really was the best and I can't wait to do it again :). Choccy cake and everything, perfect! Your rose is amazing as I knew it would be, I'm the one at home wishing I'd got that set of stamps, ROFL. I had to do mine with a nine petal flower, it just doesn't work the same and I had to use a die cut so I couldn't use the grunge paper either but I will get there and I do like what I ended up with, I'm just about to blog it. Fantastic photo's of your roses too, I like them almost as much as your chocolate cake :). Chris xx
