Inspirational Card Sketches #11 - hugs

I had lots of fun with the wonderful sketch this week designed by the lovely Dawn, I created an acetate window for the circle which I have edged with a scallop frame created with my nestabilities. Embellished with a gorgeous prima flower with centre kisses bling.

The cute Bunny image I have paper pieced and adhered inside to peek out, using my new canvas palette ink pad I have pressed into the finished image to soften and give a little texture. You might see it better in the close up. Then added a little bling to the flower.

I have die cut the 'hugs' in brown fun foam and adhered straight onto the acetate. The lace trim I have adhered to a piece of card and embellished with velvet ribbon. Raised on 3D foam.

Paper: October afternoon, white card, acetate, fun foam
Die's: Sizzix - alphabet, Nestabilities - circles,
Stamps: TGF - lucky bunnies,
Ink: Memento - black,
Other: Lace, Prima - say it in crystals, prima flower, American crafts - ribbons, 3D foam, Sticky sheet

Hope you will join in this week and make a card using the wonderful sketch. Remember you can turn, flip or do anything you like with the sketch. And it's even easier to show us your wonderful creations using Mr. Linky!!!

So If you've got this far I thought I would share a few picture's from Maoleidigh's first Birthday It lasted all weekend and she had endless visitor's and pressies, I managed to make her a special cake too, (I should have photographed it on the cake stand, but never mind) She loved it all as did Dillon....

The cake's meant to be a baby buggy, and Maoleidigh's face has a few creases as she had just woke up in a couple of the pic's. Thanks for stopping by I am really looking forward to seeing your creations! Happy ♥ HuGs Kim x

Fabby cake missus, you're so talented. I can't believe that Maoleidigh is one, seems like no time since she was born. She looks gorgeous in her pink frock, I bet she had a great time opening all her pressies. Belated birthday greetings. Hugs, Lainy xxx
