It's time for another awesome Sketch Challenge brought to you by Club Anya and Friends and this week's sketch is drawn by the talented Jessica...

This is a preview of one of the new stamps that will be released on Monday...but we've also got a fun challenge for today on Club Anya & Friends too...
Some of you may remember Soldier Ian from when he was part of a larger stamp set that has since been retired. Well good news... he's back and this time he is a single! Pretty sweet huh?
I thought I would paper piece him and get him camouflaged in earthy colours. I have based my card on Mercy's fabulous sketch. The metal on my card is the inspire snap.
Supplies: Patterned Paper: BasicGrey: granola; Stamps: TGF: Soldier Ian; Ink: Memento & archival: black; Tim Holtz: Distress Inks; Copic: markers; Dies: Nestabilities: label; WRMK: large snap; Big Bite Other: 3D foam;
Thanks so much for stopping by and pop over to Club Anya and Friends for the dt samples! Off to send some awesome emails with the Handsome Prince Ian for the participants in TGF relay.
BiG HuGs Kim :)
I have based my card on Dawn's fabulous ICSketch, it's been a while and I did always enjoy them :)
I hope you enjoyed my sneak peeks and sorry I haven't edited the pictures, In this issue you will see I've created a puzzle purse, with a metal rose inside an ornate box, a couple of vintage cards, a picture frame and postcard. I opted for digital patterned papers and found them so versatile and a great way to be really experimental. So if you can get through the snow I hope you enjoy your copy.
So my little challenge for 5pm est (11pm UK time) is...
Not the Norm...
I challenge you to incorporate TWO colours you never use... the ones that you only ever try if they happen to go with a patterned paper. They can be in the paper or in your colouring."
Now did I set myself a tricky challenge or what? There's a reason I don't go for those colours... if you can guess which ones they are, LOL!!! I just had to use these fabulous Digi's an exclusive 2009 Holiday DT gift..("SWEET") The colours that I never go for is purples and violets, it's the only ones, if they're in a patterned paper would I ever use them and that's it! So have a go and really challenge yourself LOL!!!
