Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
So I did... this card was made using an old brown envelope (you know the one the bills come in) As it happens my bear stamp arrived in post and I just HAD to stamp it and I used the only undoodled bit of paper in front of me - envelope. Then to colour in... I had my Sakura glitter pens beside me and got carried away with them and my water brush! The whole image sparkles I tried to show it in photo hope you can see!
I used the wonderful Sketch #10 over on Nicole's blog, but realise it's slightly different. Really enjoyed this project, as you can read I rambled on, and now I have to rush as baby wants me!

Cute Card and a little Tutorial
Here goes, it's not very professional but I hope you get the idea and if you have any questions be sure to ask!
Next is the clever bit... Get yourself a small cutting pad I'm using sidekick cutting pads these are great for so many things and it means you can cut a little quicker and cover small areas!
Now attach scallop paper to card. Recently I have actually been buying stamps (a lot of stamps)... It's only in the last few months that I've really been getting into them! So you're sure to see a lot more stamped cards now! I like the image on this card but still not sure on the foam lettering. I used vellum to keep the pretty patterned paper!
Paper: DCWV, PM cream vellum, pink from stash.
Die's: Nestabilities squares and ovals, sizzix alphabet.
Stamps: Baby girl Bear,(while there I ordered super cute stamp sets from Pink Cat studio, the Billy stamps and Dress up Lily)

3D Butterfly Birthday
I needed a birthday card that had either green or pink on. Spoilt myself to some Laura Ashley goodies and find both colours. The Butterfly has been stamped three times and hand cut to layer and make 3d, I used thinner foam pads which is just as effective! I went over the finished butterfly with glitter pen. I put a little bit of flock on the leaves but it doesn't show up very well (they feel nice though)
I created the scallop card with my nestabilities large square, and made another felt corner, it comes out so pretty. Sorry pictures aren't very good!

Special Mum
I was really pleased with how this card turned out. My mum loves birthday cake and this background paper was a free sample from magazine. So I continued the colours and kept with cake theme. The faux stitching I created with a tracer tool and went over the holes with a pen and doodled a little on the cake. Then layered elements on 3d foam.
