Club Anya & Friend's Saturday Sketch #34

 Pam has designed a beautiful sketch for  Club Anya & Friend's Sketch Saturday...

I had to layer a few copic colours to get the colour of his shirt to be the same tone in the paper... Lots of fun, I made this for a boy who's soon turning nine so didn't add much embellishment! Also had to cut the bow from the skull hope it works LOL! Hope you get a chance to play and pop to see the rest of the teams fabulous cards!

Claudia & Company September Challenge #4

This month the theme of Claudia & Comany challenge is... RED so incorporate red anywhere on your creation!!!

 I have used the cutie Birthday Lily and created a little frame for her! The ribbon which I have coloured to co-ordinate using my copics, I scrunched up using double sided tape,  LOL! Do stop by to see the rest of the teams stunning cards!

I think that one of the flowers in the Tim Holtz tattered florals die lends very well to the poinsettia and decided to flock the petals to give a velvet finish! I have covered some chipboard with sticky back canvas and created a little christmassy note wish list book using my Cinch to bind it! The cover has been stamped using silver paint dabber and inking with distress inks. I tried to heat emboss the fabulous tall trees image but the canvas takes the powder very differently resulting in a bitty finish!

I actually made my tree decoration first, It has so many layers of grunge board and grunge paper, I masked the heart to apply the fun flock and finished the scroll heart with paint dabber! The crown has been heat embossed! It's a reversible decoration both sides the same just mirrored! The wings were created from sticky back canvas, so they remain soft!

AND the little ingredient I picked for one of you fabulous hoppers is the yummy, sparkly, sunshiney Hero Arts Pearls & Gems that adorn the centre of my poinsettia!

OooohhhhHHH Quixotic Paperie Challenge ~ Move it, Move it!!!

Hi everyone, OOOOOoooohhhhhhHHHH I'm Back!!! We had a wonderful summer break with the little ones phew, so much fun the weather was a blessing and all the days out were the BEST!! Lots to organise since I've been home and I know no posts for a week seems soooo long... but I will have two today, firstly...

The challenge this week over at Quixotic Paperie has been chosen by... well, me!

I challenge you to MOVE IT, MOVE IT!!!

 

There is a wonderful step by step tutorial in the July issue of Craft Stamper Magazine where Helen Chilton demonstrates how to make a fabulous interactive pull-tab card which I thought would be perfect for the move it challenge. I made it easy for myself and die cut the spooky house twice and adhered the pull tab between the layers. The house will flap down revealing the adorable Birgitta by pulling the bat at the top... although, there is the worry that my spooky house may just decide to flop down all by itself (due to my interesting design idea ~ obviously) It may actually spook the recipient tee hee!

Welcome to Claudia & Company September release...

Let me introduce the adorable Baby Clairabeth

I thought I would create a little bib card using my nestie dies, coloured her using my copics and cut out. I also made a little gift bag to go with it from scrap of denim and soft felt!

Next to show you is the fabulous Birthday Ian...

This set comes with cute accessory image of cake and sentiment... I made an aperture in the front for Owen to peek through and then the inside has his full figure and sentiment.

Now let me welcome the fabulous Birthday Lily...

Such a cutie and as soon as I saw Lily's cute present I imagined a whole stack perfect for a little girls birthday tee hee. I simply created the stack by using the masking method. everything is coloured using copics.

Woo Hoo I'm so excited to be part of term III,
