CLUB ANYA BLOG HOP!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by! It's the official all customer Club Anya Blog Hop and as we need to have our posts up at 7pm CST (which is 1am UKian time) I won't be hopping until tomorrow. I can't wait to see all your amazing creations!

The COMPLETE LIST of hoppers will be posted at 7PM CST on the Club Anya Blog. We won't be linking individually as there are so many people and we want to make sure there is one central "place" to travel to and from :)

Also PCP chat will take place from 7PM CST to 9PM CST.
AWARDS will all be announced tomorrow morning on the CA blog.

So onto my little make... I love this new Miss Anya Love set, all three are so incredibly adorable and they will be available at midnight (CST) the 15th at THE GREETING FARM along with a few other releases.

I have followed the wonderful sketch #82 over at Friday Sketchers... Ok so I thought I would try something a little different and colour Miss Anya in pastels so she looked all romantic and soft. I started by stamping her first with versamark onto kraft so the outline wasn't so stark. I think she could do with a bit more work and think that I have lost some of the outline too! I sprayed a little fixative before trimming with my nestie.

Supplies: Patterned Paper: BasicGrey: bittersweet; Kraft: PTI; Stamps: Miss Anya Love (release 15th); Ink: Versamark; Derwent: Pastel pencils; Tim Holtz: Distress Inks; inkessential white pen; Die's: Spellbinders: labels 8; MS: border punch; Other: Prima: rose; Blending stump; 3D foam;

So next you just need to hop back to CLUB ANYA for the list. Hope you are having fun! HuGs Kim :)

Basic Grey challenges

Hello and hope you're having a wonderful Saturday... I'm a bit late posting my Basic Grey Challenge card... managed to actually get a lie in (which always has to be taken up LOL)! We have a wonderful colour challenge to inspire you...

This was a wonderfully quick card to make and might make a few more for those extra visitors over the coming holidays. As the colours are quite soft I went for a shabby chic card. The bauble I have stamped directly onto pink paper and the decorative band is in a blue it just looks a little silvery. I have gone over the band with my spica glitter pen. I have inked up the embossed card so it looks more cream coloured. The leaves are die cut from BG paper and embellished with ribbon and button. Click the images for a close up...

Supplies: Patterned Paper: BasicGrey: nook&pantry; sugared; eskimo kisses; Stamps: PTI: vintage ornaments; Ink: Adirondack: lights; Tim Holtz: Distress Inks; Copic: spica markers; Dies: Sizzix: leaves; Cuttlebug: embossing folder; MS: border punch; Other: Offray: ribbon; BG: button; natural thread; 3D foam;

This weeks challenge will be the last until the new year as BasicGrey Challenges will be taking a break over Christmas, so that means that you have a few extra weeks to take part :), the new challenge will be posted on the 9th of January so be sure to pop back then :)
Thanks for stopping by and hope you're enjoying all your holiday shopping today! HuGs Kim :)

Flippin' Final Day of Anya Previews...

Hello and welcome to our final day of Previews from the Greeting Farm available on the 15th, so not long now... WoW! I know you're going to love this next set... STUNNING MISS ANYA LOVE!!!

This stunning set will only add to your Miss Anya Collection as it did mine and well it got my brain buzzing... Do you ever remember those wonderful flip page novelty books? Well that's the inspiration behind my next project...

I have used only ten of my miss Anya's that are in standing poses and thinking it could very easily work for the my guy set too for the little boys amongst us tee hee! I have stamped and coloured and cut each page. I had originally used book rings but the ones I have are HUGE and just swamped the front page, I also discovered a few things I would change to make it work better but don't worry I will be creating a tutorial for you to create your very own Flip book but you don't have to wait for me to try.

Hopefully you can click the images for a close look, it seems to only work on some of them :(

I could have taken more pictures but the combinations are endless some of them don't connect correctly but it's the novelty of it a bit like your very own altering bible LOL!

Well I used very few supplies in the making of this one...
Supplies: Patterned Paper: BasicGrey: lemonade; PTI: Kraft card; Stamps:
TGF: Miss Anya Love (release 15th); All previous Miss Anya's; Ink: memento: black; Copics: markers; Die's: Spellbinders: labels 8; WRMK: Big Bite; Other: dotty ribbon; cereal box card; doubled sided adhesive sheet; 3D foam;

Stampin Chic - Christmas Be Chic

Good morning, well it's time for the Stampin Chic's fortnightly challenge! today's 'Be Chic' has a Christmas theme to help with your holiday extras! Pop over and see the other Team's gorgeous creations, I hope you get time to enter...

Using Clare's wonderful bag template I thought I would make some cute little name place cards. I have decorated them with some of Clare's papers and stamped some christmassy images directly onto the patterned papers. I have hand written the names on to be quick and if it's any easier I simply wrote roughly in pencil first to get the placement before committing in pen.

Products used: Stamps: Papermania(TM) christmas duos, Cardstock and Paper: Papermania(TM) CCSR digi green polka dots, WRMK(TM), Papermania(TM) textured cardstock, Colour: Vivid(TM) Vintage Green inkpad, Embellishments: papermania (TM) brads, Tools: Papermania(TM) Love Clare Curd... Retail Therapy bag templates, WRMK(TM) circle cutter, Stick it! (TM)-3D foam pads;

note: the papers will be available as a free download to members of the new creativity club - coming soon on docraft.com.

WOoo Hooo !!! It's Anya preview ~ Day One

It's that time of month again.... for all you Anya and Ian lovers out there, today is our first day of sneak peeks for the stamps that will be released this month at the Greeting Farm on the 15th.

Let me introduce you to Yoga Anya How fabulous is she? So contemplative and calm unlike me with all the christmassy things to do, with me and two unwell little ones :(

I imagine Anya sitting peacefully in a beautiful garden with pretty flowers and tree branches swaying so slightly (are you with me?) Butterflies fluttering round and busying with their beauty. Anya definitely enjoying a little 'me time'!

I have also used the sketch from Sketch and stash blog So... the new item is obviously the Yoga Anya as she isn't released until the 15th and this is quite an old paper collection but just love the fresh zingy colours and the cute flowers. The butterfly punch is a new tool and a dimensional punch which I have just added a little paper behind! I tried to give Anya a soft background and stippled around her the with my copic markers. It's a little hard to see that I have done a shadow image of candles under the sentiment I didn't want them to stand out too much but think they could have been darker.

Supplies: Patterned Paper: scenic route; Stamps: TGF: Yoga Anya(release 15th); Me time Anya; Ink: Archival, memento: Black; Copic: markers; Dies: Nestabilities: label; Sizzix: flower layers; Cuttlebug: embossing folder; Fiskars: border punch; x cut: dimensions punch butterfly; Other: Adhesive gems; Foof a la: button; American crafts: ribbon; 3D foam;

Thanks for stopping by today, you can find the rest of the Design team amazing creations on the Club Anya blog, so pop back tomorrow for the next Anya sneaky peek, BiG HuGs Kim :)

Phew!!!! Loads to share....:)

Well I'm amongst a huge number of peeps suffering from the nasty coughs and fluiness stuff! So heartbreaking to hear your little ones coughing :( which means I haven't posted quite as much this week as I have wanted and there's so much to share....

Firstly I'm in this months Craft stamper magazine (wooo hoooo) with fun step by step projects using background stamps as a resist Thank you Katy I loved making these projects. So thought I would share a few sneak peeks...

For this issue I have created a few projects using background stamps and some of the gorgeous Hero arts Stamps I won some time ago... Also resist and under colouring it really is amazing the different textures you can achieve.
Click the magazine cover here to take you to the Craft Stamper website...

Now onto a project I created the other day for the Club Anya Monday challenge
Complete Package yesterday. The challenge is to alter an item for a holiday gift... Here's my effort's I did use Vivi Sprout simply as I haven't inked her up yet and she's part of a set so should be OK for the CA challenge rules...

I happen to have an extensive collection of these fabulous acrylic boxes which I buy my dies's in they're actually fantastic to die cut and can make wonderful ghost shapes that you can ink and the inspiration can just go go on and on. Instead I have cut an snowflake aperture, which I've secured with another smaller snowflake. The front of the box I have inked with my snow cap dabber paint so the flake really stands out and looks a little snowy too hey? I have stamped all my images and coloured with my copic markers. Now what is hard to see is the fabulous fun flock on all the fluffy trims, their hats and cuffs and so soft. Of course I have finished them all with a generous spritz of scrummilicious glimmer mist (YUMMO!!!)

The ornament cards I thought would be a good gift for peeps who's Christmas card stack has overtaken their living quarters and in case there might just be a spare tree branch for a special thank you! You can click on the smaller images for a close look at all the sparkle =). I have also made some little envelopes and stamped the front with greeting farm tag stamps!

Supplies: Patterned Paper:
TGF: Christmas paper pack; Kraft; Stamps: TGF: Xmas sweeties; merry tags; My guy Ian; WS: Vivi; Ink: Memento: Black; Tim's Holtz: distress inks; Copic: markers; Dies: Sizzix: Snowflake; Provocraft: snowflake; Nesties: circles; MS: border punch; Other: Adhesive gem; Glimmer Mist; Fun Flock; American Crafts; grosgrain ribbon; 3D foam; Acrylic box; snow cap paint dabber;

You will have until MONDAY, DECEMBER 14th at NOON CST to get your entries in. The WINNER will be announced during our CLUB ANYA BLOG HOP and will win the ENTIRE DECEMBER RELEASE-which will be 2 singles and 1 set! That's about a $30 value! Hope you get the chance to enter...

I think this post has taken me all day to write up but to finish I want to remind everyone that TOMORROW is the first day of our sneak peeks for this month's releases. Are you totally excited???? Don't forget to check back tomorrow.... oooohhh You are going to love them!!!! BiG Happy HuGs Kim :)
