It's been a tough week, saying goodbye to my beautiful Grandmother.
But I needed a birthday card and had a go at split stamping for the new anything goes challenge on the blog today...
The stamping platform really comes into it's own for techniques like this, I first stamped the Peony & Bud in clear embossing ink removed panel applied wow embossing powder and then stamped again for the back layer in black ink. I also used the Pop dots to add a little more interest.
The panel was a blend of saltwater taffy, seedless preserves and chipped sapphire distress oxides.
I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment on acetate, I adhered it to the top of the panel and used a little clear dimensional adhesive so it's floats for a little shadow play.
