I made another card, I went for a clean kraft and white colour palette, with a touch of rose gold.
So to create my white portrait I used the 3/4 view female face die
and the torso from body die, her top is hiding from her hair. I've completed the look by cutting layers of the Hollyhock hairstyle.
I actually cut her out of watercolour paper thinking I would be splashing lots of colours onto the paper but then I went with the pure white, hoping the shadows and texture do the work, I maybe should have raised them on foam but it's all about playing, this is one of those cards that needs a closer look lol!
I went for this sizzix mandala for the background and a little pine branch foliage from gold rose too. Then I added a small sweet sentiment with white embossing on kraft.
and I would love to enter my project to these wonderful challenges too...
