Good morning, it's so nice to be crafting again if only a little bit... here's my latest mixed media piece for our current challenge on the Paperbabe Stamps blog...
The theme is flowers/garden and I had fun creating this piece, first I stamped the garden of roses, with butterflies and woodland bugs. So that I could draw the girl using the lovely female face on the portrait head. I slide the face to the right slightly to give an angled pose, not sure I pulled it off very well but always worth a try? I went with the profile torso for a different look, I think I would have liked to have seen more of her torso so it doesn't look like she only has a neck hahaha.
The hair is the Loose plait I stamped the leaves in little clusters, I would mask one to stamp the next.
I have painted the whole thing with the yummy neocolor ii, I went for an earthy palette, I used some canson watercolour paper but it didn't hold up very well, it damaged a little on her face.

Thanks so much for visiting, enjoy a wonderfully creative weekend!

Isn't she a beauty, like a Fairy herself with her delicate tones and surrounding signs of nature. So good to see you back creating.
