We have a new challenge on the Paperbabe Stamps blog today... Yay!
It's an inspiration picture so....
here's mine...
I was inspired by the yellow flower and delicate butterfly, my mixed media project was painted onto an ornate frame substrate, which I undercoated with diluted gesso so I had a nice base for some water soluble media on her face.
I have combined two hairstyles, the long loose wave for the main hair with the fringe from short and fringe, love how these worked so well together. It gives so much more scope and versatility as I flipped the design over. I stamped some yellow flowers in her hair.
Now, the Whimsical woodland set really helped to create the lovely foliage texture and patterns on her hair, as well as the flowers on her clothes. Inspired, I finished off with a few dimensional vellum butterflies.
I did put my camera on to record me creating this, I will have it edited and upload it during the week.
I would also like to enter my mixed media project into these wonderful challenges too :)
I used these products, click pics...
Thanks for stopping by,
Have a super creative weekend
