Be Inspired - Be Yourself....

Thought it was about time I bought one of the fantastic Hero Arts stamp sets, this would be my first set (it's not easy picking just one from the amazing collection) and so I had a to have a go at the wonderful Challenge over on the Hero Arts blog "be inspired" which is also my first. Lucy Abrahms was the inspiration behind this card, I haven't cased just one but taken lots of her signature elements. Bright colours on Kraft and fabulous dimensional labels 1 frame.

Edited to add: Wanted to share a few of the techniques I have used here... the leaves I have stamped directly onto the patterned paper with versamark and heated with clear embossing powder, I then cut out and have adhered with a few of the leaves on dimensional foam. I have die cut the frame in core'dinations whitewash papers, embossed with cutb'g folder and sanded slightly. The bird I have stamped directly onto the base card, and two decorative papers, cut out and raised on foam. Thanks for asking and you're very welcome...

  6. This is so cute!!! I have to invest in kraft card stock. When I first started stamping, kraft was still popular, then it went out. Now it is back and as popular as ever and all I have left are some scraps. Your card is so inspiring. And speaking of inspiring, I gave you a shout out on my blog today :)
