It's my turn on Stampin' Chic and this week as you may already know is the Technique Challenge and it's time to try DIY Flowers. Now these can be made by either using stamps, punches, circles, acetate, the list is endless.......so get those thinking caps on, we can't wait to see what you come up with. All that we ask is that you use something on your card or project from the Clare Curd Signature Range.
So here's my flowers The large one I have created by cutting layers, a couple of circles (I folded a square into quarters and cut an arc) with my scallop scissors and a couple by tearing freehand. I have also distressed the edges a little more by sanding and adding some ink. The smallest layer I have stamped CCSR doodle in the centre and embellished with a gem brad.
I have ripped the background patterned paper and inked the edges, the swirl I have embellished with those gorgeous PM shimmer dots. The sentiment is from CCSR sentiments I have used circle rounder and inked edges again! Tied a little knot and embellished with a handmade paper rose... quite we pleased with my efforts so may make some more of these! Click images for close up.
