Basic Grey Challenges #32 - Chris's Sketch

Well... Chris supplied us with a wonderful sketch this week and I started by inking up the little artist stamp and then the inking and colouring just spiralled from there LOL! I have coloured the image with distress inks. Completely distressed the edges and tried to create an aged little watercolour. All the patterned paper has been treated with edge distressing and lots of inking. Even the card base hasn't been missed! Click images to enlarge!

Materials:
Paper: BG - Archaic, watercolour paper,
Stamps: Funky Kits - Little Artist,
Ink: Archival Ink - Black, Distress inks,
Die's: Quickutz - Alphabet,
Other: 3D foam, BG - buttons, edge distresser, natural ribbon,

Thanks for stopping by I hope you have a wonderful weekend, Thanks ♥ HuGs Kim x

  3. WOW! This card is charming. I never would have thought to use those papers with your little artist...and they are wonderful together. The distressing is a perfect touch; the artist reminds me of the Dick and Jane books we read in first grade. This is precious!

  9. It's a little masterpiece Kim, WOW I love your creativity on this one, and what you've done with that plain old sketch. The distressing really does give it the effect you wanted to achieve of the aged watercolour and the image is perfect for the style. Beautiful! Hope you're having a good weekend. Hugs, Chris xxx
